Composition:

26% fodder peas, 20% fodder vetch, 16% tractor rye, 2% black/coarse oats, 8%. Tillage radish, 8%. Purple clover, 5%. Phacelia, 4% Alexandra testis, 4%. Flax, 1% Strawberries

How to apply?

Sow the seed mixture at a depth of 2-4 cm. If the soil is dry, it is advisable to water after sowing for faster germination. 5 kg of product is sufficient to 'cover/ vitalise' an area of 500-1 000 m2. Ideal sowing time: March-May or end of August-October.

General information

This 10-crop cover crop mixture is dominated by butterflies, which can fix up to more than 100 kg/ha of nitrogen from the air. Melioration radish in the mix deeply loosens the soil, while the kalas provides shade and support for the other plants. The 8% mycorrhizal concentrate per bag in the mix supports the nutrient supply of the seeds and helps toon the other hand, it can also provide a micorhiza "bed" for next year's crops, e.g. sunflower or maize crops. By using it you can create a more humus-rich, vital and healthy soil!

What does the product contain?

26% fodder peas

  • can be grown in almost any soil
  • binds large amounts of nitrogen
  • its deep penetrating roots loosen the soil well
  • its high green mass increases the organic matter content of the soil
  • can also digest nitrogens accumulated in deeper soil layers.
  • has excellent soil improvement properties in sandy soils.

20% forage vetch

  • can be grown successfully on almost any soil, but will appreciate better soils
  • it is cold and frost tolerant and can be left as mulch during the winter months
  • grows for only 2-3 months and produces a large green mass
  • it has thin clasps at the end of its leaves to help it cling to the supporting plants and anchor itself.
  • from its stem roots, it produces long, thick roots that reach up to 110 cm
  • can fix up to 50-150 kg N, equivalent to 200-500 kg/ha of Pétiso

16% Tractor rye

  • its strong, deep-growing roots loosen the soil
  • can be grown on almost any soil except saline
  • short growing season, so it yields high biomass even when sown later
  • dense plant stand is a good weed suppressor and prevents soil erosion
  • strong roots store nitrogen and other nutrients
  • excellent support for butterflies
  • drought tolerant
  • thanks to its fast-growing, large green mass, it can conserve air humidity. It thus offers the possibility of water retention in the upper layer of the soil for the following crops

12% Mature (black) oats

  • can be grown on almost any soil type, even acid or sandy soils
  • develops a large green mass which later increases the organic matter content of the soil
  • its rapid growth and high green mass make it a good weed suppressor
  • reduces wind and water erosion
  • excellent support for butterflies
  • drought tolerant
  • thanks to its fast growing large green mass, it is able to increase the humidity of the air. It thus provides an opportunity for water retention in the upper soil layer for the following crops

8% Melioration radish

  • its large taproot also penetrates the ectethalpa, essential for reduced tillage
  • Significant N, K, Ca, S and micronutrient sequestration
  • covers the soil well and is therefore an important weed suppressor, "undergrowth"
  • able to reduce the effects of water and wind erosion
  • leaves behind large quantities of organic matter, which increases the humus content, especially the subsoil, which is used more quickly and produces better quality humus
  • can be used in greening
  • develops significant root and green mass in as little as 30 days!
  • freezes in temperatures below minus 10 degrees Celsius for several days

8% Purple Clover

  • can fix up to 60-160 kg N/ha (equivalent to 200-600 kg Pétis salt!)
  • covers the soil well and is a significant weed suppressor
  • its taproots can penetrate the soil to a depth of 40-60 cm and thus improve its structure
  • feeds beneficial fungi and bacteria in the soil

5% Facelia (Honeysuckle)

  • has an excellent soil structure improving effect in topsoil
  • enriches the number of beneficial micro-organisms
  • is not demanding on the soil
  • binds many nutrients in its roots, which are used by the following plants after decomposition
  • no pests or corrosive agents
  • it is a popular crop in organic farming because it is widely used for its excellent weed suppression and as a biological soil disinfectant. (its cyanide-containing decomposition products repel nematodes)

4% Alexandra testicle

  • capable of fixing up to 100-140 kg/ha of nitrogen, equivalent to 300-400 kg of Pétis salt
  • its roots penetrate densely into the soil, thus improving the structure of the topsoil
  • it grows fast and dense in good soil, giving it excellent weed suppression and reducing wind and water erosion
  • an ideal choice between two autumn crops as it grows quickly and fixes a lot of nitrogen

4% flax

  • minimum rainfall is sufficient for germination and can withstand drought later on
  • has a rapid initial development
  • its strong stems make it an excellent support for other plants
  • its roots penetrate densely into the soil and improve its structure

1% Somkhoro

  • undemanding frost and drought tolerant, even grows in chalky sandy soils
  • can fix 90-150 kg/ha of active nitrogen, equivalent to 300-500 kg/ha of Pétiso
  • its main root can penetrate up to 1,5 m deep and loosen the soil

Micorrhizal fungus

  • spores, sensing the presence of a living root in the vicinity, penetrate it with their hyphae
  • symbiotic with the crop, which is beneficial to both organisms
  • it is able to deliver more water and nutrients to the crop from a distance
  • increases the water and nutrient uptake surface of the root by hundreds of times
  • in exchange, the crop plant provides the mycorrhizal fungus with ready-made nutrients such as sugars and amino acids
  • after termination, the mycorrhizal fungi that have multiplied overwinter in the cold during the winter and then grow on the cultivated crop sown in the springsymbiosis with the spring crop and helps it to absorb water and nutrients
