How does the Hungarian-developed Tricho Immune help?

1. Accelerates plant development, resulting in increased yields
2. Increases the plant's immunity to fungal pathogens
3. Tightens and seals the plant's wounds, protecting it from pathogens
4. Protects against stress factors such as drought, hail
5. Importantly, it only protects the plant from fungi that penetrate the plant e.g. In apples, not effective against powdery mildew, but good against varroasis, and in grapes, not against powdery mildew, but excellent against peronospora and botrytis.

Recommendation for use:

Our Tricho Immune product comes in 100 gram packs, which can be carefully repackaged after opening and stored in the fridge for up to 3 months. 100 grams of product is enough for two backpack sprayers.

Did you know?

Did you know that these Trichoderma strains have been developed by Prof. Dr. Erzsébet Karaffa and Dr. Csilla Kovács of the University of Debrecen? The research started in 2015 in the Tokaj wine region.

Importantly, it includes two Trichoderma strains that have been protected and patented in Hungary. These species are Trichoderma afroharzianum (TR04) and Trichoderma simmonsii (TR05).

Dose:

1-3 kg per hectare, 100 g in two backpack sprayers is sufficient.

The Trichoderma strains contained in Tricho Immune are:

1. They have significant mycoparasitic potential against all the endogenous pathogens causing necrotic lesions tested.
2. Effective against powdery mildew on the surface of leaves after a single sulphur treatment (Kecskemét, 2020 test results)
3. Stimulate host plant development and increase yield.
4. As a space parasite, can close wounds against pathogens - effective protection
5. Increases plant immunity and resistance
6. They are well adapted to native environmental conditions and well adapted to the host plant, which ensures their proper growth in plant tissues of plantations. They have been successfully re-isolated from the plant several years after treatment.
7. They were well adapted to agricultural growing conditions. A significant proportion of the fungicides tested did not inhibit their growth - good colonisation and long-term effect can be achieved even with fungicide use.

Storage after disruption

What is important is that the temperature should not be higher than 20 degrees Celsius and should not be humid/wet, because then the spores will start to germinate. (i.e. refrigerator is not the best because of high humidity). We recommend a tightly sealed jar that will hold the opened bag. Or seal with paper clips, bag clips.

Grapes and Trichoderma

Start treating the grapes as soon as possible after pruning and/or when they are in leaf to prevent fungal diseases with the following recipe: 50 g Tricho Immun + 2 dl Asco Alga/ in a 10-15 litre backpack sprayer. Tricho Immun needs a wound surface or green foliar surface to penetrate the tissues, and Asco Alga's organic matter content helps it stay on the foliage and penetrate through stomata. As Tricho Immun is available in 100g packs, we recommend repeating the treatment once more before flowering.

The amount not used the first time should be stored tightly sealed in a refrigerator and used within 3 months. For maximum protection, I would start Soft Guard treatment from berrying onwards at 2 dl per 10-15 litres of water, repeated every 7-12 days.

Practical advice, Tricho Immune for lawns:

It is important that Tricho Immune does not run off the green leaves onto the soil, as the product will enter through the plant.

In other words, if the lawn is very wet then Tricho Immun may run off, if it is only just wet then it is not a problem.

Ideally, water should wash dust and other contaminants off the lawn leaves and then Tricho Immun is applied to the 'clean' leaves.

It is also recommended to add Asco Algae to Tricho Immun, at a dose of 2dl per 10 litres of spray, to feed and strengthen the lawn organically.
